Pragativahini News, Belagavi – The essence of being a nation lies in the ability to take care of its own people in times of both peace and adversity. The Russia-Ukraine war presented unprecedented challenges especially for the Indian students who were in Ukraine for their higher studies. Rising up to the occasion the Government of India initiated ‘Operation Ganga’ to airlift our own people to safety.
Dr.Prabhakar Kore, Chairman, KLE Society and Chairman, CODEUNIK (Association of all the Deemed Universities of Karnataka), conveys his gratitude and hearty congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing the stranded students from Ukraine back to their motherland, India.
Drawing to the attention to the dilemma faced by the students who had to leave their education incompletely, Dr. Kore reiterated the need for the Government of India and the educational institutions to accommodate the said students. In the wake of the measures initiated by the Government, he stated that the Deemed Universities in Karnataka have decided to accommodate these students in their medical institutions as per the Government’s instructions and the regulatory bodies.
Expressing faith in the commitment of the Government of India and the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he called upon the students to be patient and to rest assured that their concerns will be addressed and their future will be secured.
