CM Bommai orders to hike Rs 100 per tonne for molasses manufacturers
Speaking at Jan Sankalp Yatra organised by the Mandya BJP
Pragativahini News, Mandya : Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said orders are issued to an additional Rs 100 per tonne to those who manufacture molasses.
Speaking at Jan Sankalp Yatra organised by the Mandya BJP unit here in which Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated on Friday, he said no government in the past thought about the My Sugar Factory that remained closed for many years. The company officials pressured the government to sell this factory to private companies. But the incumbent government took an oath to retain this factory in the government sector, held a meeting with the elected representatives and farmer leaders of this region, and decided to start the crushing operation this year. This has been done to instill confidence among the farmers of this region.
From the next year, the ethanol unit will be started and this factory will be made not only as a profit-making unit but also as a farmer’s sugar factory. The sugarcane growers were demanding a hike in the procurement price and the government has hiked it by Rs 50 for those who have ethanol units.
Double-engine government
Bommai said the government is determined for the overall development of the state and the farmers of this region must help them to make ‘Mandya is India’. Industries must come up in the district. One of the major achievements of the double-engine government has been the Bengaluru-Mysuru Express Corridor project thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will come next month to open the new highway. The total distance between Mysuru and Bengaluru will be now 90 minutes. Even Vande Bharath high-speed train on Mysuru-Chennai via Bengaluru section has been launched. The highway and Vande Bharath train are given by the double-Engine government and not by the Congress Government.
Congress, an evil government
The CM said Congress leader, Siddaramaiah wants people to vote for the Congress Party for him to become the chief minister. The people have seen the five-year administration of the Congress government which did nothing but corruption. They corrupted all the departments and looted the tax-payer’s money. The rice supplied by the Modi Government was distributed among the people by putting the picture of Siddaramaiah on the bags by claiming it as ‘Anna Bhagya’ rice. “we have seen the black and white picture of the Congress and JDS. Former CM, B.S.Yediyurappa is the only CM who had given a lot of schemes and programs for his native district. The BJP has decided to make this region the ‘Suvarna Karnataka and to make the life of children of Cauvery bright. We will work to your expectations and not misuse your confidence. There is a pro-BJP wave across the State and as Shah has now entered Karnataka, the BJP will definitely win the 2023 Assembly polls”.
BJP National General Secretary C.T.Ravi, Ministers K.Gopalaiah, C.Narayanagowda, and MLAs were present.
