Fear of defeat haunts Congress: CM Bommai

Pragativahini News, Belagavi : According to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the Congress leaders’ foul language demonstrates their fear of losing the upcoming Assembly polls. The state electorate would not support such individuals for the top position.

Speaking at Jan Sankalp Yatra in M.K.Hubli on Saturday, he said Union Home Minister Amit Shah has come to blow the trumpet for the 2023 Assembly polls in Kittur Karnataka region. The voters of this part must vote for the BJP and more MLAs to the State Assembly in order to form the most powerful, active and development-oriented government in the State.

This is the land of brave hearts like  Rani Chennamma, Sangolli Rayanna and Amateur Balappa who openly fought against the Britishers. But today, the organizations like PFI and SDPI are trying to destabilize the nation through terrorism and to disturb peace and tranquillity in Karnataka. To check this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a bold decision to ban PFI and checked terrorist activities. Let that organisation come up again under a different name Shah is capable of taking strong action against them. So, the country is safe and secure. Development is possible only if the country is safe and secure, and everyone must support strengthening the laws.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is a world leader is effectively dealing with terrorism from across the border. Under the Modi government, they are living peacefully. No one was peaceful when the Congress-led UPA government was in power due to bomb blasts, and terrorist attacks. Now everything has stopped due to the Modi government.

Bommai said the Congress has now remembered ‘ Praja Dhwani’ and what did they do while in power from 2013 to 2018. In the name of bhagyas they gave people misfortune. In the name of social justice, they cheated SC/ST communities. The present BJP government has ensured social justice. When Farmers were in difficulty it was Yediyurappa who went to their rescue. While he was the CM, Yediyurappa had given free power supply for IP sets up to 10 HP, interest-free agriculture loan, input subsidy during the flood fury, support price for food produces and subsidy for the Working Classes.

“We have given Vidyanidhi scheme for the children of farmers, and extended to the children of coolies, fishermen and cab drivers, Rs 5 lakhs for youths under Swami Vivekananda scheme for self-employment, Rs 5 lakhs for women under Stree Shakti scheme”, the CM said. Bommai said the Congress party has promised 200 units of free power but Yediyurappa had given free power to 10 HP IP sets way back in 2008 and it is continued even now. The Congress party is copying the BJP schemes.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi and others were present.
