KLS GIT Student represented Karnataka in Yuva Sangam National level event

organized by the Government of India

Pragativahini News, Belagavi – Ms. Bhargavi Shridhar Pai, a first-year student at KLS GIT,  recently had the incredible opportunity to represent Karnataka as a participant in the “Yuva Sangam” initiative, organized by the Government of India under the “Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat” scheme. This initiative aims to foster cultural exchange among students from different states of India, enabling them to gain deeper insights into each other’s cultures, heritage, traditions, technology, developments, and more.

Out of over 1300 registrations across Karnataka, Ms. Bhargavi Shridhar Pai was selected as one of the 45 students to embark on a tour of Madhya Pradesh. During their visit from May 13th to May 19th, 2023, the students had the privilege of exploring remarkable destinations such as Indore, Bhopal, and Ujjain. They had the opportunity to visit significant landmarks including the Sanchi Stupa, Ujjain Mahakaleshwar Temple, the lakes of Bhopal, Tribal Museum, and more.

In addition to experiencing the cultural richness of Madhya Pradesh, the students had the honor of meeting distinguished personalities, including the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mangubhai Patel, IAS officers, actors, businessmen, and historians. These interactions provided invaluable insights into the governance, arts, commerce, and historical aspects of the state.

The nodal institute for Karnataka in this program was NITK, and from Madhya Pradesh, it was MANIT Bhopal.

KLS Management members, Prof. D.A.Kulkarni, Principal, KLS GIT, Deans and EBSB coordinator congratulated the students for bringing laurels to the institute.
