Omicron cases are on the rise in neighboring Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu

Pragativahini Nes, Hubballi – Presently I don’t have any plans of going on a foreign tour, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai reiterated on Saturday.
Speaking to media persons in Hubballi the Chief Minister said, “the World Economic Forum conclave in Davos has been postponed to June. So I am not going on any foreign for tour now.”

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is set to hold a meeting with experts on Sunday to discuss measures to control the spread of Omicron, the new Covid variant.
“Omicron cases are on the rise in neighboring Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This is a cause for concern. A meeting with experts would be held on Sunday to discuss the situation and decide about appropriate measures to prevent its spread in Karnataka,” Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said speaking to media persons on Saturday.
