The contributions of IT companies must benefit the common people, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking at a function organized by NASSCOM and Forward foundation to honour CSR sponsors here on Tuesday, he said the rain harvesting scheme in government schools is an important and useful program. The IT companies are growing fast in Karnataka. The first IT industry was started in 1984 and since then Bengaluru has not seen back. Now, Karnataka has the maximum number of Startups, R&D companies and Unicorn.
IT companies beneficial for us
The CM said every IT company wants to start it’s operation in Bengaluru. Bengaluru has 1.25 crore population and around 5000 engineers come here daily. As many as 5000 new cars are hitting road every day. The IT companies are beneficial for them but even the problems are plenty.

He said while the world is facing economic crisis the Indian economy is growing thanks to positive attitude of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “You are in a best country. It is laudable that the IT companies are doing works that the country is feeling proud. As far as possible help neighbors and the government is always with you”.
