ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT ORGANIZED

Pragativahini News, Belagavi – The Department of MBA, KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi in association with Institution’s Innovation Cell-ICC, GIT and GINSERV organized an Entrepreneurship Summit.

Chief Guest, Shri. Girish Hiremath, Chief Operating Officer, GINSERV addressing the audience                expressed that there are ambitious founders and creative startup teams everywhere, keen to find unique ways to find a great product-market fit and solve the world’s problems. He said that, we are celebrating the 75^th year of independence and with a call of Atmanirbhar Bharat the environment and the support for initiating a new business idea is ideal and convenient.However, innovative ideas can only amount to action within a system that’s built to nurture them. Entrepreneurs need a supportive environment to launch startups that could one day have an impact not only on the local economy but on society as a whole.

Principal, Dr.JayantKittur said that, building an Entrepreneurial culture in education institutes is very important. He opined that student shall be motivated to work on startups as early as they are in the first semester and they shall be mentored and guided to ensure the startup pics up pace to become an established company that provides jobs to others.

Dr.D.A Kulkarni, Dean Administarton welcomed the gathering and applauded the efforts taken by the MBA department to organize an event of this nature. He said that Entrepreneurship and innovation aren’t armchair philosophies.The real learning takes place when students apply this knowledge to practical problemsand it is done through practice.

Dr.KSL Das opined that the summit will help the participants understand Idea validation and Innovation, Digital Economy and Blockchain, Incubation and Startup Pitches.  He added that the summit will give an opportunity to the participants to pitch their business idea and the mentors from GINSERV will help the participants improve their B-Plan by mentoring them on regular basis. He said that the summit is an activity planned as part of MOU between KLS Gogte Institute of Technology and Ginserve.
