Tourism promotion through Lakkundi Utsav
The CM said Lakkundi is one of the important historical locations in the world and the ‘Lakkundi Utsav’ is being organized to promote tourism in this part of Karnataka.
Reacting to former CM B.S.Yediyurappa requesting the government not to name the Shivamogga Airport by this name, Bommai said his predecessor had made a similar statement when the previous government had taken a decision. Lately, there has been pressure from the people of Shivamogga in this regard and the same will be discussed with Yediyurappa before taking a final decision.
