Govt services at people’s doors: CM Bommai
The Chief Minister called upon the officers to make Karnataka the number one state in the country
Pragativahini News, Bengaluru – The government will gain people’s trust when its services are taken to their doors, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said speaking after laying the foundation stone for new rooms at the KAS Officers Association building and releasing the annual calendar of the Association.
The Chief Minister called upon the officers to make Karnataka the number one state in the country. He wanted the government services to reach the door steps of the people amid the Covid challenges. The ‘Grama One’ and ‘Jan Sevak’ programmes to take government services to the doors of the people would be launched on January 26, he said.
He recalled the contribution of the royal families of Mysuru in giving a structured framework for the administrative system and developing the state as a model state in agriculture, industry, banking and education. The Chief Minister exhorted the officers to take the benefits of administration to those at the bottom of the society and bring a change in the lives of the weaker sections.
