Pragativahini News, Belagavi – The Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (IMTMA) organized the 20th edition of South and Southeast Asia’s largest exhibition from 19th to 25th January 2023 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
Over 350 exhibitors from 16 countries participated in this exhibition, which is taking place after two years in the IM Tex 2023 tool tech and digital manufacturing categories.
KLS GIT exhibited their research work at i2 (Industry – Institute Pavilion) and bagged 3rd position with a cash prize for the best research work on “Minimum Lubrication Assisted Milling of Aluminum Alloy in Industry”. Dr Harshit B. under the guidance of Dr Mahantesh M. Nadakatti and Dr Raviraj M. Kulkarni. Kulkarni conducted the research work.
KLS GIT has bagged this award competing with leading institutes like IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras etc.
Prof. Pradnya H. Kulkarni, Prof. Prajakta S. Patil, Prof. Ananda A. Kulkarni, Prof. Mahesh Sattigeri, Dr. Sachin Kulkarni and Prof. Mahesh Kori represented KLS GIT. Students like Aditi Joshi, Bhakti Khatkara, Musa Shapuri, Nitesh Patila, Pratika Tigadimath, and Rakesh Terani participated.
