Pragativahini News, Hubballi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Bengaluru on February 6 to inaugurate the International Conference on India Energy Week, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
He told reporters at the airport on Tuesday that after the Bengaluru event, the PM will participate in the Helicopter manufacturing unit at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Tumkur.
Launch of Raitha Shakti scheme
He said Raitha Shakti, a scheme announced in the 2022-23 state budget was launched today. This scheme is regarding giving the subsidy to farmers on the use of diesel for various agricultural equipment. It will benefit lakhs of farmers across the State.
Asked about the chief minister of Goa being unhappy over the Mahadayi judgment, Bommai said that as per directions of the Supreme Court, a tribunal was constituted and after ten years of examining this project from various angles, the tribunal gave its verdict which was gazette notified by Government of India in 2017. Now, the Detailed Project Report has been okayed and the project is being implemented stage by stage. This action had been taken after a protracted legal battle.
He refused to comment on the BJP MLC A.H. Vishwanath’s statement and said he had not replied to his statements to date. There is no need to give importance to Vishwanath’s statements.
